EXCLUSIVE | OTR x Original Retro Brand x Toronto Maple Leafs 2015 Collection
Over the Rainbow is proud to announce its partnership with Original Retro Brand for their first collaboration project. As an official NHL licensee, they decided to team up with the Toronto Maple Leafs to release an exclusive collection of classic logos and artwork. While it is sports-themed, the collection differs from usual “fan-wear”. Over the Rainbow chose from a variety of premium blended fabrics, colour schemes and original artwork. The result is a cohesive lineup of products that satisfies the fashion lover AND the sports enthusiasts…especially Maple Leaf fans!
Toronto Maple Leafs S/S “Script Puck” Logo Tee
The flying puck was an exclusive design to Original Retro Brand, which we combined with the 1927 primary Maple Leafs logo and an italic “Toronto” script. We chose an extremely soft blend of fabrics that would fit & wear nicely under any jacket or zip-up. The body colours let the artwork stand out ring hometown pride!

Toronto Maple Leafs S/S “Cross Sticks Property Of” Logo Tee & Hoodie
This graphic is a combination of three different designs exclusive to Original Retro Brand. We kept the “crossing sticks”, the “1917” and the “hockey player” while making subtle changes to the surrounding artwork. We arched the “Property of” and moved the Maple Leaf logo to fit underneath it. We then took the “Toronto” and “Maple Leafs” script from two other designs to round out the style in two different colourways and bodies.

Toronto Maple Leafs L/S “Deconstructed Classic 1945 Jersey” Logo Top & T-Shirt
We really liked how the 1945 Maple Leaf primary logo contrasted with the blue and grey colours. It is the least common logo found on Maple Leafs gear, but could not resist being different. The red script along with the stem details in the logo make it pop out that no other artwork was necessary. They are cleanest pieces in the collection for the person who wants to show their hockey pride without any busy hockey references distracting from the logo.
