Between your arts and cookie business, you lead a busy life. Outside of work, where can we find Craig Pike?
You can find me at a lot of different places around the city. I love going to see the theatre, visiting the symphony, and trying Toronto’s newest restaurants - YUM. I enjoy being outdoors, walking to and from work, or chilling with my pup in the park. To stay active, I do CrossFit at 6S, hike and play tennis. At home, I love cooking.

After opening the first Craig’s Cookies location in Parkdale, you opened the second location in Toronto’s Village. What does the Church St. location mean to you, Craig's Cookies, and the LGBTQ+ community?
I think that being a small business owner there’s a responsibility to be able to give back to communities that you feel should have your support. Being a queer business owner, it was kind of a no-brainer to open a spot within the queer village in Toronto. It’s also a huge honour!

We imagine that with over 85+ cookie flavours across six (soon to be seven) locations, it's hard to pick a favourite. Which cookie flavour have you been craving the most lately?
Cookies and cream is currently my favourite - white chocolate is the bomb! I love it when I get one with big chunks of Hershey and Oreo. The mix of the cookies and the cream after it's baked is delicious.
The slogan on Craig's Cookie website reads: "Celebrate Yourself". What does celebrating yourself mean and look like to you?
Just like we have 85+ cookie flavours all with their own unique, delicious qualities, I think it’s important that we all have our own vibe and celebrate it. Be yourself. Be brave. Stay true!

Tell us a little bit about your personal style. What styles, colours, or pieces do you gravitate towards? What inspires your fashion?
I’m from NFLD, so I love a good autumn vibe. My style is comfortable and casual. I adore anything from jeans and a tee to a three-piece suit. Definitely more of a classic vibe overall though!

What’s one fashion trend you’ve seen too much of recently? Which fashion trend are you most excited about?
I’m not really into the sneakers with the really thick soles. You know the ones? They just aren’t for me. I do love that the comfort and ease of the 90s is returning though!
